On Saturday, August 9th, the nation's finest wiffle® ball squads battle it out for the 13th Annual Northern Virginia Wiffle® Ball World Series (NVWWS) title! Whether you're playing ball or just a spectator at the park, The Brian Bedell 2-Young Foundation’s “Field of Dreams” provides a ballpark experience that you will never forget.

THE SKINNY

The event will take place on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Waters Field in Vienna, VA (this is Brian Bedell’s hometown youth ball field).

Park opens at 8:30am and opening ceremony and first pitch will follow shortly thereafter at 9:05am - Listen for the drums and meet at Bedell Park! NVWWS features a festive stadium atmosphere - including ballpark food and drink vendors, a home run derby competition for players and spectators, a silent auction, celebrity guests, a “Wiffle® World” for the kids (including moon bounce, clowns, mascots, face painting and more) - and DJ Wiffle® will be spinning stadium tunes at one of the most anticipated events of the year for children of all ages and the entire family! All for a great cause – to benefit The Brian Bedell 2-Young Foundation!

Come out to the “Field of Dreams” where Mini-Wrigley, Mini-Camden Yards and Mini-Fenway Park will challenge the best wiffle® ball hitters and pitchers in the land! And don’t forget that the NVWWS finals, taking place at 5 pm, will feature incredible raffle giveaways that you don’t want to miss. You must be in the stands to win the special grand prize giveaway.
